Let's all admit it now: we loved arts and crafts in elementary school, where the teacher would dump a huge pile of
colored construction paper on the edge of a worktable, and armed with scissors, crayons,
white glue, mucelage or library paste, we'd all attempt to create something fun, pretty, profound, or (depending
on the type of kid you were) just plain
weird. I never quite got over the working with paper thing and
I'm pretty talented with a pair of scissors and a utility knife. As I do more and more with paper sculpture, I'll
put them up here.

Books have always been an important
part of my life, and I feel particularly proud that I can combine my abilities
as a writer and a designer to start crafting handbound books for myself and
others. Here are some examples of my first tries at hand binding.
